We’re Cris and Mari — two Brazilian souls turned professional wedding photographers, now proudly serving couples all across Massachusetts and New England. From Boston weddings to intimate elopements, surprise proposals, and heartfelt family celebrations, we’re here to capture your most meaningful moments with love and intention.

Our journey with photography began back home in Brazil, where we both started out as second shooters. Life then brought us to the U.S. as au pairs — a beautiful detour where photography took a backseat for a while. Mari became a proud mama, and Cris explored the corporate world, always in search of something deeper and more fulfilling.

Then one Christmas, Cris opened a gift that changed everything: a camera.
We started shooting again — first for fun, then with purpose — and quickly remembered why we fell in love with storytelling in the first place.

In February 2025, we officially launched Lumière Photography — and since then, we’ve had the honor of documenting weddings and love stories all over Massachusetts, especially for couples who value emotion, authenticity, and artful photography.
